i am behind achterstock — a material-driven design studio at the intersection of knitwear, eyewear, and experimental design.
i design and produce eyewear from acetate and horn, alongside experimental knitwear.
material research is central to my practice. together with julia walk, i develop bioplastics and algae-based yarns.
